How to reset Poser's user interface to factroy layout.

If your Poser interface has become scrambled and you can't drag and drop the tool palettes back to a usable layout follow these steps.

  • Save your work if you have a scene open.
  • From the top menu choose Edit > General Preferences ...
  • Select the Interface tab from the top of the Preferences palette.
  • In the Launch Behavior section click the dot next to "Launch to Factory State"
  • Click [OK]
  • Exit Poser and restart.

Now to be sure this can't happen again you can set the Interface to always launch to you preferred layout.

  • Organize the tool palettes the way you like them.
  • Edit > General Preferences ...
  • Next the Launch to Preferred click the [ Set ] button
  • Click the dot next to Launch to preferred.

Now if your Poser interfaces gets mixed up all you need to do it restart and it will be back to normal.
